Join us for a Dutch treat dinner at
Opa Estiatorio
in Vernon Hills on Friday night from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. See the details below.
Riding the ferry to Santorini or standing in the Athenian acropolis: do these images conjure up memories of your own experiences as a Forester on the Greece Program? To speak of that experience and convey its importance in your life is not always possible. But to share such memories with someone who has had the same experience is almost like living it again.
You can relive your time in Greece by joining other Forester alumni who were also participants in these programs. Homecoming activities this fall (October 8-10, 2009) will feature special gatherings to celebrate Lake Forest’s continuing success of this study abroad program.
Foresters going to Greece in the spring will comprise the 40th such group! Students still say that studying abroad is a life-changing experience, and the longevity and successful continuation of Lake Forest’s Greece Program are certainly worthy of celebration.
Mark your calendars and make plans now to attend Homecoming ’09 and the special festivities for Greece program alums. Bring your photos and stories to share. And if you have suggestions and would be willing to help plan activities, please contact the Alumni office at
alumni@lakeforest.edu
.
We all look forward to seeing you this fall!
